Individual concert tickets for The Cleveland Orchestra's 2022-23 Severance Classical season go on sale on Monday, August 8. This marks the Orchestra's 105th season at Severance Music Center and the 21st year of The Orchestra's acclaimed partnership with Music Director Franz Welser-Möst.

Today, The Cleveland Orchestra announces its 105th season of concerts at Severance Music Center from September 2022 to May 2023. Marking the 21st year of the ensemble’s acclaimed partnership with Music Director Franz Welser-Möst, showcasing extraordinary artistry and more ways of sharing music-making across multiple platforms. Highlights include 20 guest artist debuts, acclaimed guest conductors, and thirteen works being performed for the first time by The Cleveland Orchestra, including four world premieres and one U.S. premiere. Multiple GRAMMY-nominated harpist Yolanda Kondonassis and The Cleveland Orchestra's principal trumpet Michael Sachs announce the world premiere video performance of Aaron Jay Kernis' Elegy . . . for those we lost. Kernis wrote this work just one year ago offering music to reflect, mourn, and remember those lost to the COVID-19 pandemic, and it is presented for the first time in this arrangement created especially for Sachs and Kondonassis.

Today, The Cleveland Orchestra announced its June broadcast schedule for The Cleveland Orchestra: In Focus digital concert series. Two episodes, premiering on June 3 and 17, will conclude the first season of In Focus broadcasts, available for on-demand viewing throughout the summer.

Individual tickets for The Cleveland Orchestra’s 2021 Blossom Music Festival season are on sale today. With the addition of a performance on July 4, twelve concerts are part of the 2021 Blossom Music Festival, which runs from Fourth of July through Labor Day weekends at the Orchestra’s scenic summer home in Cuyahoga Valley National Park.

The Cleveland Orchestra announced that composer John Williams will conduct the Orchestra in a special one-night-only program featuring music from his celebrated film scores on Sunday, April 26, 2020, at 3:00 p.m. at Severance Hall. An iconic American composer, Mr. Williams's film scores are among the most beloved in cinema history. He has also written a selection of works for the concert stage, including a trumpet concerto composed for The Cleveland Orchestra and principal trumpet Michael Sachs, which premiered in 1996. Over the years, Mr. Williams has led The Cleveland Orchestra in numerous performances at Blossom Music Festival; he made his Severance Hall debut in 2018.

The Cleveland Orchestra and Music Director Franz Welser-M st announced details of their 2019-2020 season which encompasses 76 concerts over 26 weeks. One significant highlight includes a festival designed to explore music and art that was banned, marginalized, and destroyed during the Nazi's Degenerate Art movement, and the continuing impact of censorship on creative expression in society today. The festival will center on Alban Berg's Lulu, one of the 20th century's most influential operas, and includes partner programming with the area's notable arts institutions.

Goodman Theatre proudly announces the completed expansion of its Alice Rapoport Center for Education and Engagement-a state-of-the-art, LEED-certified, 10,000 square-foot community arts center in the heart of downtown Chicago, accessible within the Goodman facility. Designed by Wheeler Kearns Architects with Lead Architect Chris-Annemarie Spencer, the Alice Center is the new home for the Goodman's myriad programs for youth, educators and lifelong learners. Newly-opened spaces-the Northern Trust Lab, Efroymson and Hamid Family Lobby, Sabl Conference Room and a library, kitchen and restroom facilities, including one gender-neutral restroom, funded by Linda Hutson-join the Clifford Family Lobby, Roger and Julie Baskes Rotunda, Walter Family Foundation Lab and Pritzker Foundation I.T. Chicago civic leader Michael Sachs named the Center in honor of his late wife, Alice B. Rapoport-a Goodman Trustee and 15-year champion of the theater's Education and Engagement outreach efforts.

As the celebrations, performances, and successes of The Cleveland Orchestra's Centennial Season continue toward its conclusion this spring, the Orchestra has announced details of its 101st season for 2018-2019. Aspects of the celebratory spirit continues - with a 100th Birthday concert in July for the Cleveland community and Centennial Gala in September. The new season also extends the dedicated week-to-week work, creativity, and artistry required to continue being one of the world's best orchestras year after year.

Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr., today announced the indictment of ANTHONY HUGER, 32, for selling and attempting to sell forged tickets to the Broadway musical Hamilton. The defendant is charged in a New York State Supreme Court indictment with ten counts of Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree, among other charges.
