TBS has expanded its comedy line up by licensing the popular, award-winning series “Modern Family” which follows the diverse and complex Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker clan as they navigate daily life. TBS also will air longer daily marathons of “The Big Bang Theory” -- a series that currently ranks as the #1 acquired series in cable in 2023.

“Puppy Bowl XIX” dominated on Sunday as the #1 non-sports cable telecast among key demos including, P25-54, P18-49 and P18-34. Among P25-54, the game averaged a 0.71, 0.58 and 0.28 rating. Puppy Bowl went into overtime with Team Fluff defending their title to take home the Wayfair “Lombarky” trophy, defeating Team Ruff with a final score of 87-83.

A heavyweight roster of guests, including multi-GRAMMY® winner John Mayer, global superstar Post Malone, rock legend Bret Michaels (“Rock of Love”), multi-GRAMMY® and Billboard Music Award-nominated Kesha (“Conjuring Kesha”), 8-time NBA All-Star Anthony Davis (Space Jam: A New Legacy) and actor Paul Rudd will join the show's lineup.

Julie Taymor appeared on The View to celebrate 25 years of The Lion King on Broadway. Taymor brought along performers from the Broadway production who demonstrated the puppets used in the show that she desgined, including The Lioness, The Bird Man, and The Cheetah. This version with music by Menken, the multiple Oscar winning composer of Disney musicals Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and Newsies; and lyrics by the Tony award-winning lyricist of Ragtime, Seussical and Once on this Island, was a hit for ten consecutive seasons at New York's Madison Square Garden and was later filmed by television in a production starring Kelsey Grammer as Scrooge. Quest's production will be directed by Quest Ensemble Director Andrew Park. A Christmas Carol will run from November 20 - December 20, 2015.

From late 2010 through June 2011, all eyes were on the Foxwoods, as numerous actors sustained severe injuries, and on-and-offstage drama between the creative team and producers emerged, eventually forcing visionary Julie Taymor to walk away, and leave SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK in the hands of others.

The Huffington Post reports that Gil McKinney has been cast as Prince Eric in the upcoming third season of ABC's ONCE UPON A TIME. The actor will star opposite JoAnna Garcia Swisher, who portrays mermaid Ariel on the series.
