High School in the Spotlight: Regina Dominican High School
Back to the Articleby BWW News Desk
BroadwayWorld's Student Center High School Edition is back for another year! Just like the BWW College Center, the High School Center offers a directory featuring upcoming show listings for high schools nationwide. Schools can register for 'enhanced' listings on the site - adding in photos, cast lists, videos, links and more. Productions that take advantage of this will receive highlights on our listing pages, extra editorial mentions and potential spotlight features.
This week, we shine a spotlight on Regina Dominican High School in Wilmette, Illinois!
Regina Dominican, a college preparatory Catholic school for women, sponsored by the Adrian Dominicans, fosters academic excellence, truth, peace and justice while challenging each student to develop leadership for life and respect for all races, cultures and faiths.
The Fine Arts department at Regina Dominican strives to develop an understanding and appreciation for the arts. Our extensive curriculum includes both theory and practice in art, drama, and music. Read more about each of these departments below! ART MUSIC DANCE Upcoming productions at Regina Dominican include the fall musical WEST SIDE STORY playing from November 15 to 17, A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, ORCHESIS, KATHERINE'S QUEST FOR HAPPY and a Spring Concert hosted by the school's Music Classes.
