Hartford Stage, under the leadership of Artistic Director Darko Tresnjak and Managing Director Michael Stotts, presents the world premiere musical comedy A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder with book by Robert L. Freedman; music by Steven Lutvak; lyrics by Robert L. Freedman and Steven Lutvak; and directed by Darko Tresnjak. A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder plays now through November 11 and features Tony Award-winner Jefferson Mays, playing eight of the more than 20 characters. Roundabout Theatre Company's Cyrano de Bergerac officially opened on October 11, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre on Broadway and will play a limited engagement through November 25, 2012. Previews began on September 14 for the RTC presentation of Tony Award winner Douglas Hodge as "Cyrano" in a new Broadway production of Cyrano de Bergerac. Clemence Poesy will make her Broadway debut as "Roxane" and Broadway veteran Patrick Page will play 'Comte De Guiche.' The show will open officially on October 11, 2012 at the American Airlines Theatre and run through November 25, 2012. BroadwayWorld UK was invited to Hodge's home for an exclusive shoot at which Hodge and designer Barrie Gower fitted his iconic Cyrano nose for the very first time. The Geffen Playhouse's world premiere stage adaptation of The Exorcist showcases an award-winning design team - including world-renowned creative consultant Teller and internationally acclaimed spiritual composer Sir John Tavener - to bring playwright John Pielmeier's script and Tony Award winning director John Doyle's vision to life on stage. The team also includes Tony Award winning scenic/costume designer Scott Pask, lighting designer Jane Cox and sound designer Dan Moses Schreir. Working with Doyle, the design team will be tasked with creating a theatrical experience that engages the senses in a way that is unique to live performance.
