In honor of the 40th anniversary of its theatrical release, Purple Rain, the iconic 1984 film starring Prince in his film acting debut, will be available for purchase on 4K Ultra HD Disc and Digital for the first time on June 25. Purple Rain stars music icon Prince in his first film role as The Kid, alongside Apollonia Kotero, Morris Day, Olga Karlatos and Clarence Williams III.

The Cortland Repertory Theatre Box Office will open on Monday, May 20th for all summer ticket sales for their 53rd annual summer season. 

The Royal Opera House has announced The Lady Sarah Chatto as President of The Royal Ballet. Formerly Vice-President of the ballet Company, The Lady Sarah Chatto takes on the role following the news that His Majesty King Charles III has accepted the position of Patron of The Royal Ballet.

We chat with director Wayne R. Scott about Anne of Green Gables at LifeHouse Theater. He is a writer, composer, producer and director who has authored 30 original musicals and numerous other widely produced works.  He has also produced and directed nine musicals at the internationally known Redlands Bowl, including Annie, The Sound of Music, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, The Wizard of Oz, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, and most recently, Disney’s Mary Poppins for the Redlands Community Music Association.
