New York Theatre Barn in the D-Lounge, now in its 4th year, is a monthly event that was created May of 2007 in the D-Lounge at the Daryl Roth Theatre. The series transferred to The Duplex in the West Village in January of 2008 and returned to the D-Lounge in January of 2010.

Producers Jacobsen Entertainment in association with Lionsgate and Magic Hour Productions announced that Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage has joined the Millionaire's Club with box office receipts totaling $1,095,062 for 8 performances for the week ending October 26, 2008.

Daily Variety is reporting that the international stage hit Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story On Stage could be making itself a home on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre after current resident Hairspray takes its final bow. While no official plans have been confirmed, inside word is that 'Dancing' looks to be eyeing the space for it's Rialto bow. There is no word on an exact date for a Broadway opening, but insiders predict a Fall 2009 start for the film to stage tuner.
