The event will take place from 12-1 p.m. on March 9 and is titled, Black Man Teach, moderated by Xavier Ramey, the CEO of Justice Informed. F. Christopher Goins, Chief Diversity Officer of Thrive Chicago; Shawn L. Jackson, President of CCC's Truman College; and Michael Strautmanis, Chief Engagement Officer of the Obama Foundation join the event.

The League of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association (CSOA) will celebrate its 25th annual Corporate Night on Monday, June 16 at 7:30 p.m. with special guest Melissa Etheridge performing with members of the CSO, led by conductor Sean O'Loughlin. Over the course of more than two decades as a performer and songwriter, Melissa Etheridge has earned her post as one of rock 'n' roll's most respected artists with numerous hits, such as 'I'm the Only One,' 'Come to My Window' and 'I Want to Come Over.'

Goodman Theatre is proud to announce that two of its longtime executive collaborators, Executive Director Roche Schulfer and Director of Development Dorlisa Martin, will be honored with an 'Equality in Action' medal from Vision 2020, a national project working to achieve gender equality.

Steppenwolf Theatre Company is currently accepting applications for its 2008-2010 African-American Fellowship, a two-year professional development program for early and mid-career African-American arts administrators. The application deadline is March 15, 2008.
