STORYLINE: Death Of A Driver, by Will Snider, is a play that follows the journey of Sarah, a Western engineer, and Kennedy, her Kenyan driver, as their lives become intertwined amidst political upheaval and personal transformation. Through their evolving relationships, the play explores themes of cultural clash, social justice, and the human cost of progress, highlighting the importance of racial awareness and cross-cultural understanding.

25 to 35 years old, African, Black man, nonbinary. Male actor, preferably of Kenyan descent, ages 20s to early 40s, able to convey a range of emotions from wit and humor to vulnerability and resilience. Comfortable with physicality and stage movement as well as intimate scenes. Kennedy is a Kenyan driver employed by Sarah, an American engineer. He is intelligent, resourceful, and deeply connected to his cultural heritage. Kennedy's journey intertwines with Sarah's as they navigate the complexities of power dynamics and cultural clash, ultimately confronting issues of privilege, identity and the human cost of progress. An affable yet intensely passionate person with a desire to contribute more to his community and his country.
