For those who enjoy romantic musicals:
The Mercury Theater, 3745 N. Southport Ave in Chicago, begins its highly anticipated 2013 season with the exhilarating Broadway musical A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING. A romantic musical journey from young infatuation to the touching and funny complexities of commitment and marriage, the joys of parenthood, and the power of enduring love, A GRAND NIGHT FOR SINGING features over 30 songs from beloved Rodgers and Hammerstein musicals. Performances on Valentine's Day are at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. For tickets, call 773-325-1700 or visit www.mercurytheaterchicago.com.

For the Andrew Lloyd Webber fanatic:
With the permission of Andrew Lloyd Webber himself, The Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Dr. in Lincolnshire, is the first to be granted full creative ability to produce NOW AND FOREVER, a spectacular theatrical event featuring legendary composer Andrew Lloyd Weber's greatest musical hits. NOW AND FOREVER will bring highlights from such beloved Weber musicals as EVITA, CATS, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, and SUNSET BOULEVARD. NOW AND FOREVER also features music from the mega hit musical PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and its sequel LOVE NEVER DIES. The Valentine's Day performance is at 8 p.m. For tickets, call 847.634.0200 or visit www.MarriottTheatre.com.

For the Broadway musical aficionado:
