Adapted from Thomas Wolfe's controversial chronicle of his Asheville youth, Look Homeward Angel marks the tumultuous coming-of-age of Eugene Gant. A brawling, epic search for connection to each other, one's self and the land beyond.
The production features Artistic Director, Kathy Scambiatterra and stage veteran, Frank Nall. The large cast also includes Artistic Home Ensemble Members Eustace Allen, Jill Schroer, Maria Stephens, Kate Tummelson, Matt Welton and Miranda Zola; along with Michael Denini, Jeremy Glickstein, Tim Goldich, Veronica Lynn, Joan McGrath, JP Pierson, Katherine Swan, Sam Undine and Philip Wasik; with Nick Horst in the leading role as Eugene Gant. Artistic Associate Greg Guyles will design the set, with lighting design by Claude Heinz, costumes by Irene Servose, properties by Lindsay Monahan, and sound design by Artistic Associate James Murray. It is produced by Ensemble Members Tim Miller and Joe McCauley, with Kaiser Ahmed serving as Assistant Director.

Set in the Left Bank of Paris, 1916, Modigliani is the story of a critical 72 hour period for an artistic genius on the verge of fame. A bitter rival of Picasso, Modigliani turned Montparasse upside down with his legendary excesses and talent, while spawning a circle of friends and lovers that worshipped him like a rock star.
The production will be directed by Kathy Scambiatterra, with Associate Artistic Director and founding Ensemble Member John Mossman in the title role as Amadeo Modigliani. It also will feature Ensemble Members Eustace Allen, Luis Crespo, Vic Doylida, Maria Stephens and Matt Welton. Jeff Nominated and After Dark Award winning Chelsea Meyers will design the set, and Jeff Nominated AaRon Johnson will design the sound.
The Latent Heterosexual (Chicago Premiere)

Tickets are $28.00 on Fridays and Saturdays, $25.00 on Thursdays and Sundays, and subscription packages are available for $55.00. Preview tickets are $15.00. For tickets, call 1-866-811-4111 or visit www.theartistichome.org.
The Latent Heterosexual was written by acclaimed every-man playwright, Paddy Chayefsky, and will be directed by Jeff Christian. This will be the first known production of The Latent Heterosexual in nearly 40 years.
In The Latent Heterosexual, John Morley is a zany, suddenly-successful author who has never paid his income tax. With the IRS breathing down his shorts, Morley throws himself on the mercy of his tax adviser, a legal weasel of wizardry inventiveness. In this world where everything - including sexual and self-identity - comes with a price tag, Chayefsky tells a tale of corruption of the artistic soul.
