Lampkin is very excited about working with his longtime friend Suzanne. Their friendship goes back to the golden days of the group Panama in the early 80's. Lampkin collaborations with Suzanne include studio, ("Robin Kay's "I Didn't Got to My Prom" the first dance release from LMG, that reached number 24 on the club charts, remaining on the chart 9 months, for which Suzanne provided backups and character voices) and stage: the co-production with Healthworks of "But the World Goes 'Round" at the Mercury Theater where Suzanne sang the Streisand classic "How Lucky Can You Get?") ; while also working with Suzanne during the benefit Christmas shows for Teen Living Programs, also at the Mercury Theater, co-produced by CCP.
Recently, Suzanne entered into an exciting collaboration on new music with Chicago house legend, producer and writer Georgie Porgie. So come and share an evening with Suzanne as she shares her intimate stories and songs in this new venue.

SUZANNE PALMER BIO:

Suzanne Palmer is equally at home singing R&B, gospel, house, pop, jazz and cabaret. She has performed on albums with Angela Bofill, Jeff Lorber and Terry Callier. Earth, Wind and Fire's Maurice White signed her to a solo recording project after hearing her on New York’s nationally televised “Show Time at the Apollo.” She appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show," accompanying Gloria Estefan on her Olympic Games anthem, "Reach." Jazziz magazine declared Palmer a winner in its talent search for "Voices of the New Jazz Culture."

Suzanne has enjoyed a long and fruitful artistic partnership with Grammy Award winning house music producer/DJ Peter Rauhofer. His Club 69 album, "Style" (Twisted America/MCA) yielded three hit dance club singles for Suzanne - "Much Better," "Alright," and "Muscles" - and firmly established her as a major star in the club music scene. Since that time she has recorded numerous club classics, including “Hide U,” "Show Me," the UK breakout trance/house collaboration with DJ Tiesto, "643/Love's On Fire," "Luv 2 Luv," "Home," "Sound Of The Drum," "Fascinated," "Free My Love," and “Fame.”

Always in demand for her soulful, spirited, gospel-inflected live performances, Suzanne has appeared throughout the world as a featured artist at major venues and festivals in cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Miami, New Orleans, Montreal, Toronto, London, Paris, Brussels, Rome, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, Tel Aviv, and Sydney.
