Profiles Theatre Announces Extension for ASSISTED LIVING

ASSISTED-LIVING-20010101

Profiles Theatre announces the third and final extension for their hit world premiere of Assisted Living by Deirdre O’Connor, directed by Profiles Artistic Director Joe Jahraus. The critically acclaimed production has been extended an additional four weeks, through March 18, 2012, at Profiles alternate venue The Second Stage, 3408 N. Sheffield in Chicago.

Anne Kelly needs help. She’s pushing 40 and still lives with her mother. Her deadbeat brother won’t even return her calls and the ancient family home seems to be falling down around her. When Levi, a sweet but dim-witted younger man, comes into her life, Anne begins to see the upside of not always being the grown up.

Assisted Living makes its world premiere with Profiles Theatre, their second production by Deirdre O’Connor follows last season’s long-running hit Jailbait. Assisted Living opened at Profiles’ Second Stage Theatre in November 2011 and has been playing to sold out houses. The production received rave critical reviews from Chicago’s top critics. Original cast members continuing in their roles including guest artists Shannon Hollander, Jordan Stacey and Stacy Stoltz. John Byrnes (Waiting For Lefty with American Blues, This with Theater Wit) joins the cast as Jimmy.

Ticket prices: Thursdays are $35, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays are $40; Students and Senior Citizens receive a $5 discount on all performances; Group rates are available.
