Producer Wendy Kaplan has been producing theater since the age of eighteen. Her most recent Chicago-based production was Clutter: The True Story of the Collyer Brothers Who Never Threw Anything Out, by 7 Emmy Award winning playwright, Mark Saltzman. She is also the producer for the Des Plaines Park District’s Footlighters Theater Company, producing plays that cast children along with more experienced adults in the hope to enrich the theatrical community. She was previously Managing Director of Stage Two Theatre Company and has produced for many regional theatre companies and worked on various Broadway productions, including Lost in the Stars, The Changing Room, Spofford, and Leonard Bernstein’s Mass. She has also produced many shows at Citadel Theatre Company in Lake Forest, including Something’s Afoot, directed by SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE… director Wayne Mell.
The preview schedule for SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE… is Friday, January 4 at 8 p.m.; Saturday, January 5 at 8 pm.; Sunday, January 6 at 2 p.m.; and Thursday, January 10 at 8 p.m. The regular schedule is Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. Ticket prices range from $20.00 for students/seniors and groups to $25.00 for general admission.
