Lookingglass Theatre will close the world premiere of Trust, written by David Schwimmer and Andy Bellin, and directed by Schwimmer and Heidi Stillman on April 25th. Trust is based on the screenplay by Andy Bellin and Rob Festinger. Schwimmer has previously directed a film version of Trust starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener.

Trust depicts a seemingly innocent online encounter that threatens to unravel the fabric of an American family. Using state of the art technology, Trust will be a cutting-edge theatrical experience, combining projection, video, photos, texting and live chat. As the internet increasingly becomes the hunting ground for sexual predators, this production will serve to not only raise awareness but move and empower audiences to take action in their community and within their own families.

Trust features the work of company members Christine Mary Dunford, Raymond Fox, Philip R Smith, Daniel Ostling, Mara Blumenfeld, Chris Binder, Rick Sims and Jonathon Templeton with Amy J. Carle, Spencer Curnutt, Keith Kupferer, Zanny Laird, Zoe Levin, Marianna Oharanko, Morocco Omari, Dorcas Sowummi and Allison Torem.

Best known playing Ross on the sitcom Friends, David Schwimmer appeared on Broadway in The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial and is a member of Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre. He recently starred in their production of Our Town. He also directed the Off-Broadway production of Stephen Belber's Fault Lines.

The Lookingglass Theatre Company is located inside Chicago's historic Water Tower Water Works, 821 N. Michigan Ave. at Pearson.
