Four-time Tony Award winner Liza Minnelli will perform "Liza Minnelli and Friends" at the legendary Chicago Theatre. Presented by Star Productions, Minnelli will sing sensational American standards in a glamorous and intimate concert. The show will feature some of the greatest songs of all time performed in their purest, most intimate form with Minnelli and her quartet. She will be accompanied by Billy Stritch

The performance takes place at 7:30PM on June 6.  Tickets are $55-$125 and can be purchased at www.thechicagotheatre.com

Minnelli's most recent Broadway show, Liza's at the Palace, won a 2009 Tony for Best Special Theatrical Event, and Minnelli has also won Tony Awards for Best Actress in a Musical for Flora the Red Menace and The Act. She also won a special Tony Award in 1974 "for adding lustre to the Broadway season." She was Tony- nominated for The Rink and additional Broadway credits include Victor/Victoria and Chicago. She won the Academy Award for Cabaret and the Emmy Award for Liza With a "Z".

Minnelli rose to international stardom for her appearance as Sally Bowles in the 1972 film version of the Broadway musical Cabaret, a role that brought her the Academy Award for Best Actress.
While film projects such as Lucky Lady, A Matter of Time and New York, New York were poorly received, Minnelli found herself as one of the most versatile, highly regarded, and best-selling entertainers in television, beginning with Liza with a Z in 1972, and on stage in the Broadway productions The Act and The Rink.

Minnelli has a total of four Tony Awards, an Oscar, an Emmy Award, two Golden Globes and a Grammy Legend Award for her contributions and influence in the recording field (making her one of only twelve people to have won an EGOT), along with many other honors and awards.
