Meet Swann Black, the hottest little superstar in the child pageant circuit since Jon Benet Ramsey. Swann has looks, talent, and most importantly, a mother with the drive and determination of a pit bull. Will Swann take the national crown away from Leslie Ann DuBonnet, the girl with so many crowns that if you lined them up from end to end they would circle a double wide trailer nearly two and half times? Show description: "In honor of our 10th anniversary, Hell in a Handbag is proud to present the show that started it all! In 1998, David Cerda's first musical parody, SCARRIE The Musical, opened at the Sweetcorn Playhouse in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood and ran for 18 months! SCARRIE is an homage to the electrifying Stephen King story and classic Brian DePalma film. Before there was 'Heathers' and 'Mean Girls, there was 'Carrie'- the tale of a girl pushed to The Edge, forcing her into a fury of telekinetic justice. Get ready for an evening of laughter, tears, music and lots and lots of pig's blood... People seated in the front rows will be provided with splash guards."
