In The Fine Print's Christmas in Chicago, four ego-driven actors need to overcome their personal agendas, insecurities and jealousies so they can perform a musical year-in-review. Mixing behind the scenes "drama" and performances highlighting and skewering 2012's events, Christmas in Chicago is a satirical musical salute to the past year with plenty of back stage hijinks.

ChicagoTheatreBeat.com calls the 2011 production "a four star revue that knocks over the sacred cows and political correctness with panache and a healthy helping of the sardonic humor that is Chicago." The Chicago Reader praises last year's production saying "Several sketches in the Fine Print Theatre Company's yuletide year-in-review revue do an excellent job of capturing the zeitgeist."

Director Aaron Graham, Music Director Gwen Tulin and veteran improvisers and comedic actors Heather Bodie, Tommy Beardmore and A.J. Miller return with newcomer Taryn Wood. New songs and new sketches are coupled with the original story from last year's writers Patrick Kenney and David Himmel.

The Fine Print Theatre Company, develops and produces new plays with work focused on the social and political issues that shape our place in history. The company tells human stories, experienced through the lives of people confronted by the events that make headlines and explores the way our community is affected by cultural themes like racism or poverty, immigration or health-care, the War on Terror or Don't Ask, Don't Tell.

The Chicago Commercial Collective is a new company focused on producing Chicago theater of incredible quality and commercial appeal and fostering a new age among Chicago's mid-sized commercial theaters. The company is a partnership between Brian Loevner, Aurelia Fisher Cohen and Monty Cole
