Universal Pictures Stage Productions, Working Title Films and Old Vic Productions in association with Weinstein Live Entertainment announced today that Chicagoan Susie McMonagle, currently playing the role of "Mum," will take over the role of "Mrs. Wilkinson" in the Chicago production of Billy Elliot the Musical beginning September 21, 2010. Emily Skinner will play her final performance as Mrs. Wilkinson on September 19, 2010. Billy Elliot is now playing through January 15, 2011 only at the Ford Center/Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph Street, Chicago).

Susie McMonagle. Broadway: Fantine in Les Miserables. National tours: most recently as "Donna" in Mamma Mia! Other tours include The Secret Garden, Sound of Music, Les Miserables. An Evanston resident, Susie's Chicago credits include: Rock n Roll at Goodman Theatre; Indian Ink, Spitfire Grill and Dirty Blonde at Apple Tree Theatre; Man of La Mancha at Court Theatre; Sideshow and At Wits End at Northlight Theatre; and numerous shows at the Drury Lane Theatre and Marriott Theatre including Annie Get Your Gun, Anything Goes, Cats, Evita and Chess. Billy Elliot is the joyous celebration of one boy's journey to make his dreams come true. Set in a small town, the heartwarming story follows Billy as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, discovering a surprising talent that inspires his family and his whole community and changes his life forever.
 
Billy Elliot is currently playing through January 15 only at the Ford Center/Oriental Theatre. Individual tickets range in price from $30 to $100. A select number of premium seats are also available.
