The Chicago Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce its B2B Networking Event happening at Ann Sather's April 13th, 2010 from 7am to 9am.

Join the chamber for its monthly networking program featuring SPEED NETWORKING. This is a great opportunity for you to network one on one with 12 to 35 new business contacts in a timed organized environment. During this event you will be asked to talk about your business in 5 minute rounds so be sure to have brochures and business cards with you. A light breakfast, coffee, tea, and sweetrolls will be provided. Don't miss speed networking, it only happens once a quarter!

The B2B Networking Event will be at 7am to 9am at Ann Sather's on 909 W. Belmont in Chicago. The fee is $10 for members and $20 for non-members. For more information, contact Christina Pinson, Executive Director, at 773.303.0167, or you can visit www.glchamber.org

The Chicago Area Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce serves a roster of over 250 Members, a number that increases almost daily. These members are lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) business owners, as well as gay-supportive businesses. Together they employ over 2,000 people in the Chicago area, with gross revenues that exceed $200 million.

Since gay and lesbian tourism brings an estimated $300 million a year to Chicago, it's no surprise that the city has discovered the viability of supporting the LGBT community. Currently, a portion of the Chamber's funding comes from the city government - a far cry from the days when the city of Chicago sought to close gay and lesbian owned businesses.

We envision a bright, prosperous future for all Chamber members. The key to this vision is unity, which we foster through promotional, networking, and advocacy programs. We believe that by aligning our common interests, Member businesses will continue to grow and thrive.
