A Holiday Revue for the Entire Neighborhood!
Just in time for the holiday season, Village Players Theatre in Oak Park brings audiences A White Christmas! This dazzling musical revue is perfect for a date night, a family event, or an outing for the entire neighborhood!
Inspired by the classic film White Christmas, this spectacular holiday concert will take you on a musical journey from a World War II performance for the troops, to the glamour of a Florida nightclub, and finally, to the charm and simple beauty of a New England town. 'Christmas Eve In My Hometown,' 'Home For The Holidays,' 'Baby It's Cold Outside' & 'White Christmas' are just a few of the classic songs performed in this magical and enchanting revue. Complete with lavish costumes, original arrangements, comedy and plenty of warm-hearted sentiment, this cast proves that Christmas is truly a season to enrich the soul.
A White Christmas has performed to adoring audiences and sold-out houses all across the Midwest. The show has been seen at Woodstock Opera House; Harrah's Casino; Governor's State University; across Door County, Wisconsin; and at numerous resorts and corporate events.
The revue features performers Jennifer Mather, Jim Goodrich, Flora Ann McIntyre & Gary DeVar. In addition to the Christmas revue, all four singers are also members of the Merry Maskers, a traveling caroling troupe that has performed on radio, television and across the Chicagoland area for over 17 years.
A White Christmas runs December 13 & 14, 2008. Performances are Saturday at 8 PM & Sunday at 3 PM. Tickets are $25 for Adults and $20 for Students & Seniors.
Presented in the Mainstage Theater of Village Players Performing Arts Center located at 1010 Madison St., Oak Park. Plenty of parking is available on the street.
