All Kinds of Crazy is part of 16th Street's Words in Motion which began with Julie Ganey's Love Thy Neighbor...Till It Hurts followed by Tony Fitzpatrick's Nickel History: The Nation of Heat (performing thru Aug 5 at Steppenwolf Garage).

A coat left on the train tracks, virtual reality, and the secrets we keep about crazy. Secret spiller and author of What Does the Sun Sound Like and Aiming for Sainthood returns to 16th Street to complete her trilogy of true tales. A daughter of a deaf couple, Arlene became her parents' translator to the hearing world when she was 6-years-old. In All Kinds of Crazy a family secret is uncovered when she attends her sister's wedding. With her trademark humor, Arlene confronts her own state of mind when depression slipped in through her window, lit a cigarette and made himself at home.

There will be a sign interpreted performance on Saturday, August 18 at 8:00 PM.
