Roundabout Theatre Company's 2024 Gala will honor Kenny Leon and The Rudin Family on Monday, March 4 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom in New York City. Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose will perform a unique concert created exclusively for the special occasion.

Over 55 galleries, institutions, and artist-run spaces are aligning to present a weekend of exhibition openings, activations, and events this fall, showcasing art throughout Chicago’s many neighborhoods for the inaugural Chicago Exhibition Weekend.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that Sara Bareilles  will join the 2022 Gala evening celebrating Tony Award winner, RTC alumna and friend Chita  Rivera with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre.

As The Gift Theatre embarks on its 20th anniversary, its Board of Directors today announced a change in artistic leadership and plans for a new performance space in Chicago's Jefferson Park neighborhood. Co-founder and Artistic Director Michael Patrick Thornton will step down from his post after helming the theatre for two decades.

M.A.D.D. Rhythms, Chicago’s premier tap collective, continues its 20th Anniversary with appearances and performances throughout the Midwest with See Chicago Dance’s Chicago Dance Month, a COVID-19 vaccination event in Appleton, Wisconsin, Juneteenth Celebrations and its monthly “2nd Fridays Tap Jams” on Friday, June 11.

Due to popular demand, Victory Gardens Theater announces the extension of its critically acclaimed production of Cambodian Rock Band, written by Lauren Yee, featuring songs by Dengue Fever and directed by Marti Lyons. Cambodian Rock Band now runs through May 12, 2019, at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue.

Cambodian Rock Band runs April 5 - May 5, 2010, with press performance on Friday, April 12, 2019 at 7:30pm at Victory Gardens Theater, 2433 N. Lincoln Avenue. Victory Gardens is also pleased to announce a partnership with Lincoln Hall to present Dengue Fever in concert on Wednesday, May 1, 2019.
